Story is decent, but Meyer can't write. The storyline is interesting, if you can stand reading a bunch of hyperbolic, overwrought, oversized Harlequin romance, hackneyed, trite, prose to get to it. See what I did there? I took the first sentence and then "Meyerized" it to give you an idea of how she might have give you the same info, but with oh so many more words.
